Enterprise Olympics 2014

The 20th Annual Enterprise Olympics conference was held at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John’s on May 23, 2014.  Entrepreneurship 3209 teachers from across Newfoundland and Labrador submitted their top student Venture Marketing Plans to the YMCA. Those plans were then reviewed by a business professional and the top 10 winners from across the province were invited to attend and compete at the Enterprise Olympics Conference. The conference provided an opportunity for students to present their business plans to a panel of professionals, learn about the business industry and network with people who were able to provide them with valuable information on starting small businesses. A total of ten students and seven teachers from across the province attended the conference.

Prizes were awarded for first, second, third and fourth place winners, as well as a People’s Choice award as voted by students and invited guests.
