YMCA Community Action Network (YCAN)

Addressing the Needs in Your Community

As part of the Canada Service Corps initiative, YCAN provides youth with opportunities to identify and execute local service projects. Each service project develops a network of community contacts and provides participants with career development skills and volunteer hours.

Why Participate?

  • Receive a Certificate of Completion

YMCA Community Action Network (YCAN) eligibility:

  • Youth ages 15 – 30 years

  • Canadian citizen

  • Permanent resident

  • Person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
