Join Our Team

The YMCA of Newfoundland & Labrador offers a summer day camp at our Ches Penney Family YMCA and nearby Avalon Metro locations. We are seeking full time staff (up to 35 hours per week) to join our day camp team.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with children, recreation, ECE, education students
  • Assisting children with swimming activities
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
  • Acceptable Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Current Standard First Aid
  • Available to work June 25-August 29, 2024 (excluding statutory holidays)
