The YMCA has been part of life in Newfoundland and Labrador since 1854. Through two World Wars, Commission of Government, Confederation with Canada, the cod moratorium, and more than one pandemic we have served communities with needed programs and services.

Our senior leaders, supervisors, staff, and volunteers operate our Heath Fitness and Aquatics, Child Care, Day Camp, and Employment Enterprise and Newcomer Services programs at more than 200 locations and points of program delivery across Newfoundland and Labrador.
