No. The YMCA is a charitable organization that believes in fairness and equality, so our fees are the same for all adults. We offer financial assistance for those in need or on fixed incomes, in a private and confidential process. The YMCA offers many programs for older adults such as: Tai Chi, Aqua Fit and Swim Lessons.

No. We believe that access to a variety of options can help you to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Included in your monthly fee is use of our pools/lessons, conditioning centre, child and youth programs, track, courts and adult group fitness/rec sports. Because our facility is based on an all-inclusive and open concept model, it is hard for us to monitor just a “swim” or gym” membership. Day passes are available for drop-in visits.

No. Anyone can use our facility on a drop-in basis by purchasing a Day Pass – $9.44 plus tax where applicable or Play Pass $25.00 (an adult, a child and up to two other persons) (HST included). Photo ID required for those 16+.

Please check the program guide for registered programs. Unless stated otherwise members must book in advance to attend all programs, classes, and child minding. Booking can be done via the online portal.

Children may join on their own as members and are not required to pay the building fund fee. Parents do not require a membership but can participate with their children for a day pass fee. Parents can supervise or watch their children swim or play, but if parents want to attend family swim or gym programs they must buy a Day Pass. Child minding for 0-6 years is accessible through family memberships only. E.g. if you purchase a child membership to attend Parent n Tot swim lessons where parent/guardian supervision is required, you will need to pay the adult day pass fee if you choose not to purchase a family membership.

The YMCA is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children and young people and vulnerable adults in its care. Requiring photo ID to access our facility is one of our commitments to safety.
