YMCA Summer Day Camp
Ignite their potential this summer!
YMCA Day Camps Camp programs help the next generation of leaders develop skills, discover themselves and build self-confidence through fun and adventure.
YMCA Day Camps are designed to spark imagination and build confidence, independence, and communication skills. Children will get to participate in swimming, physical activity, games, hands-on learning, skill development, craft activities and more.
Avalon Peninsula Region
Day Camp Location: Ches Penney Family YMCA, 35 Ridge Road, St. John’s, A1B 4P5
Dates: June 25 – August 23, 2024
Day Camp availability: Weekly (Mon-Fri) 8:00am-5:00pm
Ages: 5-11 years
Fees:
- $185.00 weekly | $148.00 weekly with a statutory or civic holiday
- 2nd & 3rd participant discounts available (participants must be from the same household)
- Staff discount available

YMCA Summer Leadership Development Program- Level 1
Leadership Development Level 1 is a program intended for youth to prepare to become counsellors for camps or recreational activities for younger children. Learn about communication, physical literacy, child development and practice leading activities. Successful graduates will be eligible to continue to Leadership 2, 3 and Junior Counsellor programs.

Dates:
- Choose either session 1 or 2
- Session 1 is July 2-5 & July 8-12
- Session 2 is July 29-August 2 & August 5-9 (*No camp on Regatta Day)
Leadership Development availability: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Fees:
- Session 1 $360.00 (HST included)
- Session 2 $360.00 (HST included)
