He provides me with dynamic workouts and encourages me to try new things. Because of his training, I am stronger and healthier. He knows when to encourage and when to push, yet never too much. The results I have achieved are largely due to my YMCA personal trainer’s combination of diverse training methods, individualized exercise programs, and challenging yet achievable goals. When I could not manage something, he would provide a variation that allowed me to build up to the full exercise. When I thought I could not do something, it was broken down to help me accomplish it. He places a high value on correct form with every exercise and helped me understand the importance of correct form. My program is devised to allow me to progress to more and more advanced exercises, and I am amazed at what I can now lift, press, and push. My overall fitness and strength is improved so much that I am able to perform exercises I would never have attempted on my own. His safe and effective exercise programs, and friendly personality creates a relaxed and comfortable environment. He makes each workout challenging and interesting. He motivates me to push past my perceived limits to achieve results. I have learnt so much from my YMCA personal trainer, he is willing to share his expert knowledge and answer any questions. I really appreciate how he listens to what I want to achieve and designs a varied and challenging workout program for me.
