Join Our Team
We are seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to provide leadership to the pool operation, aquatics programs, and staff team. The Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Aquatics centre; implementation of the YMCA aquatics programming and swim lessons; and training, coaching, and supervision of the aquatics team. This position is located at the Placentia Regional YMCA.
Job Requirements
- Supervisory experience of an aquatics staff team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor
- Current Standard First Aid
- Current National Lifeguard
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience and computer skills
- Flexible to work various shifts. Maintain a work-life balance with our 35-hour work week
- Aquafit certification is an asset
- Lifesaving Society Instructor (Lifesaving, First Aid and National Lifeguard) is an asset
- YMCA Aquatics Trainer certification is an asset
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
