Please join us in welcoming Arizona Making-Leight as our new Controller starting 3 February, 2025.
Arizona has a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University and has been a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) since 2020. She has previously held positions in accounting firms, was Director of Finance for Kingsway Living, Controller for Hunt’s Logistics, and has most recently been an Auditor with Canada Revenue Agency. She is also the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for End Sexual Violence NL.
Arizona will be joining our CFO and team in Finance and Administration starting 3 February, 2025. Initially, her focus will be on learning our monthly processes for accurate and up to date financial reporting and on meeting various staff teams to understand our operations. Controller is a new position for YMCA NL, important to supporting our recent growth and future expansion plans.
