Register for Classes, Programs and Activities

To book a class or reserve an activity space, go to the My Y Canada App on your smart phone or tablet.

Book through the YMCA Online Portal for any of the following YMCA classes and programs:

  • YMCA Spring or Summer Day Camp
  • Group and/or private swim lessons
  • Karate Kata
  • Y Junior Squash Program
  • Courses and workshops
  • Birthday parties
  • Purchase a YMCA membership

Class & Program Schedule

The YMCA offers a wide range of classes and programs for people of all ages. Use the weekly calendar below to view all group fitness classes as well as child, youth & family programs offered at your YMCA branch.

Please note that registration for all classes and programs is encouraged to be completed through the My Y Canada App, however member and short-term pass users can still register in person or by calling their local YMCA branch. Activity and Facility Schedule

View the Activity and Facility Schedule to find out the availability of:

  • open/lane swim schedule in the Aquatics Centre
  • open gym schedule in the Gymnasium
  • booking for pickleball, badminton, and/or hardwood courts.

Participation and Supervision Guidelines

General

  • Please check in at the Welcome Desk to confirm your attendance.

  • Parents/guardians must enter the facility with children and stay with them in the facility or place them in a staff supervised program. When picking children up from a staff supervised program, parents/guardians must show the child’s membership card to the staff person.

  • Parents/guardians who are accompanying children entering the facility regularly for a program (e.g. swim lessons) must obtain a scan card from the Welcome Desk to scan.

  • To book a class or reserve an activity space, go to the My Y Canada App on your smart phone or tablet. To register for YMCA day camps, group and/or private swim lessons, Karate Kata, Y Junior Squash Program, courses and workshops, birthday parties or to purchase a YMCA membership, go to the YMCA online portal.

  • Any member/day pass user age 12+ years can attend our facility without adult supervision.

  • Lockers are available; please bring a lock to secure your items at all times.

Aquatics

  • A short, warm, soapy shower must be taken before entering the aquatics centre.

  • All pool users ages 0-11 years must be supervised by an adult (16+) in the water and within arm’s reach*. (Exception is swim lessons)

  • Maximum of four children per adult. Note: This can change at the discretion of the Lifeguard

  • You are not required to register for lane or open swims at this time. Participation will be on a first come, first served basis.

  • Water wheelchair is available to access the pools. Where possible, members in need of assistance should receive help from a family member/care giver.

  • Aquatics spectators are limited to designated areas outside the aquatics centre.

Courts

  • Players are required to bring their own equipment (except nets)

Conditioning Centre

  • Open to users 12 years +

  • Wipe down equipment after each use

  • Return equipment to proper storage area

  • 30 min maximum for cardio equipment

  • Allow others to use equipment while resting

  • Do not drop or bang equipment

  • Appropriate attire required

  • Headphones required when using electronic devices
