Join Our Team
We are seeking a Business Consultant to provide business development support services to clients. This can include coaching, business plan development, financial document development, business skills training, personal network development support, and Entrepreneurs rural outreach. The Business Consultant would liaise, consult and collaborate with a variety of individuals and organizations within the economic development community to foster ongoing partnerships. They would also be responsible for delivering remote Business Planning Program services across the province. This is a remote/hybrid, contract position with province-wide responsibility that is based out of St. John’s at the Ches Penney Family YMCA with an expected end date of May 31, 2025.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business or related field
- A minimum on one year’s experience working in a business advisory or entrepreneurial support role
- Firsthand experience operation a small business is considered an asset
- Knowledge of community, private, and government resources available to entrepreneurs
- A valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
- Current Standard First Aid
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
