Join Our Team

We are seeking a Centre Manager to provide leadership to all Health, Fitness and Aquatics (HFA) programs and services. This position also includes management of fitness and program, housekeeping, and the membership sales and service teams, ensuring quality membership experience, growth, and retention. This position is located at the Bonavista Regional YMCA and is contingent upon receiving an Agreement.

Job Requirements

  • University degree or diploma in related field or related experience
  • Minimum two years of management experience or equivalent
  • Experience working with a budget
  • Experienced in customer service, sales, and meeting targets
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, experience with ActiveNET software is an asset
  • Experience in fitness or recreation is an asset
  • Current Standard First Aid
  • Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
