Join Our Team

We are seeking a Level 1 Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team. This is an entry-level position and the successful candidate will act as a front-line support for our YMCA team assisting in their technology needs via phone, email or in-person. You will be responsible for creating and managing support tickets as well as installation of software and hardware systems. You will be a leader in helping educate users on best practices and better use technology for their workflow. This position is Hybrid/Remote and will be based out of our Project and Administration Offices in St. John’s.

Job Requirements

  • IT related degree or relevant work experience
  • Certifications in CompTIA A+, Network+. Security+ considered an asset
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Windows devices, software, printers, and network connectivity
  • A basic understanding of IT security best practices
  • Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
