Join Our Team
We are seeking a Manager, Member Programs to provide support in the delivery of quality programs, services, facilities and equipment. Reporting to the Regional VP/GM, the Manager, Programs provides direct delivery, training, coaching, evaluation and supervision to program staff and volunteers. They will be responsible for provide a safe and positive experience for all members and participants. This position is located at the Ches Penney Family YMCA in St. John’s.
Job Requirements
- Post-secondary education
- YMCA Canada Group Fitness and Personal Training Certification or industry equivalent is considered an asset
- Experience leading a variety of fitness and recreation programs
- NCCP or coaching certification is considered an asset
- Current Standard First Aid
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
