Join Our Team

We are seeking a Manager, Programs to provide support in the delivery of quality programs, services, facilities and equipment. Reporting to the Regional VP/GM, the Manager, Programs provides direct delivery, training, coaching, evaluation and supervision to program staff and volunteers. They will be responsible for provide a safe and positive experience for all members and participants. This position is located at the Central Labrador YMCA in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

Job Requirements

  • Post-secondary education
  • YMCA Canada Group Fitness and Personal Training Certification or industry equivalent is considered an asset
  • Experience leading a variety of fitness and recreation programs
  • NCCP or coaching certification is considered an asset
  • Current Standard First Aid
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
