Join Our Team
We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to manage external communications, including social media posts, content creation, paid media, media development, and website analytics and maintenance. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to produce engaging and meaningful content that adheres to YMCA brand guidelines and best digital practices. With strong design and writing skills, the Coordinator will foster a sense of belonging and connection among viewers and members. This position offers a remote/hybrid work arrangement, with scheduled shifts based at the Administration and Project Office in St. John’s.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Business with a focus in Marketing
- 1+ years experience in a similar position
- Experience with website maintenance and digital marketing (i.e., social media posts, working within brand guidelines, paid media, poster development)
- Experience in account coordination and management (day to day, strategy, planning, meetings, and reporting)
- Understands product sales and charities
- Up to date with relevant market practices and trends through continuing education
- Website programming, graphic design and print collateral, photography and video production are considered assets
- Experience navigating digital platforms such as SharePoint or SiteGround
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
