The Placentia Wellness Centre is in the final phases before opening. Substantial completion has been issued for the new facility, to be known as the Placentia Regional YMCA, and the Town has handed the keys to the YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Town of Placentia together with the YMCA has begun the commissioning process of the building to ensure all systems are operating and functioning as designed.
