Join Our Team
We are seeking a Bilingual Program Coordinator to provide support and leadership to our Enterprise Olympics. The Bilingual Program Coordinator will guide students as they build businesses and tap into their entrepreneurial potential. Aiding in the education of students across the province on the process of creating and evaluating new business ventures. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive entrepreneurial program tailored for newcomer students and French-speaking students. This position will focus on fostering entrepreneurial skills, providing mentorship, and creating experiential learning opportunities. This is a contract position located at our Employment Enterprise and Newcomer Service Offices in St. John’s at the Ches Penney Family YMCA with an end date of August 1, 2025. Access to a vehicle will be required, as this position includes travel throughout the Avalon Metro Region.
Job Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business
- Entrepreneurship experience is considered an asset
- Bilingual, English and French
- Current and valid Standard First Aid
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
- Valid Newfoundland Drivers License
