Join Our Team
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to provide support and leadership to our Enterprise Olympics. This position would require a self-motivated individual who has the drive to support youth on their Entrepreneurial pathway. The Enterprise Olympics program guides students across the province on the process of creating and evaluating new business ventures. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for creating an influential experience for youth while introducing them into the business world. They would develop and deliver comprehensive entrepreneurial programs for students in grades 4-12 as well organizing and delivering a province-wide entrepreneurship conference that will help develop business acumen, communication and leadership skills among the participating students. This is a contract position located at our Employment Enterprise and Newcomer Service Offices in St. John’s at the Ches Penney Family YMCA with an end date of August 1, 2025. Access to a vehicle will be required, as this position includes travel throughout the Avalon Metro Region.
Job Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business
- Entrepreneurship experience is considered an asset
- Event planning/coordinator experience is considered an asset
- Current and Valid Standard First Aid
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
- Valid Newfoundland Drivers Licence
