Join Our Team
We are seeking Program Staff to deliver health and wellness programs for children, youth, adults, and families. This physically demanding job may require you to set up, take down, and clean equipment, lead active programs, and engage a diverse group of people. Programs may include child minding, overseeing birthday parties/rentals, and conditioning centre orientations. This position is located at the Bonavista Regional YMCA and is contingent on receiving an Agreement.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (or in progress)
- Experience working with, and delivering programs and quality customer service to, diverse populations
- Fitness leadership experience (or willingness to obtain) is considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as bend, crouch, and reach
- Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Current Standard First Aid
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
