    My Y App Update

The family membership barcode function is now available on the My Y App. When a member opens the app, they will now see and have access to all family members on their YMCA online profile.

    What does this mean?
With this feature, members can not only scan themselves in, but now all other family members when entering their YMCA branch. This eliminates the need of all family members:

    • having to log in to the app separately to access their membership barcode
    • needing a physical scan card

With this feature, one member on the family profile can register other family YMCA members for any activity. Examples include registering your child for Child Minding, or registering you and your partner/spouse for a game of Pickleball.

In addition to the family barcode feature, the My Y app is designed to give YMCA members instant access to view and register for any single day activity that is available, view branch hours and receive notifications on their favorite classes. To learn more, visit My Y App – YMCA Newfoundland & Labrador.

Programs that either have a set roster of participants for a defined period of time (ex. Karate) or charge a fee such a private swim lessons, day camps, and courses continue to be available through our online portal at Online Portals – YMCA Newfoundland & Labrador.
