Bonavista, NL – YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador is developing a 40-space regulated child care centre in Bonavista. The centre, to be located at Matthew Elementary School, will be made up of three classrooms; two multi-age classrooms, and one Pre-K classroom.
Capacity funding has been received from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, and design work has already commenced. Once design is complete, construction estimates will be done to secure a funding agreement to award the construction contract. After construction, the space can be equipped and licensed, then staffed, and then opened.
