THRIVE is a 6-month fitness program to help make exercise accessible, achievable, and enjoyable for those new to the YMCA.
YTHRIVE takes the guesswork out of exercise. The biggest barrier to getting and staying active isn’t necessarily the exercise itself, it’s knowing what exercises to do to reach your goals. How many reps? How many sets? How much cardio? This exercise program gives you the tools you need so you can spend your time working on yourself, instead of worrying about planning your exercises.

Yes, the workout plans are yours to keep. Additionally, as a YTHRIVE Alumni, you will have access to a library of workouts for you to continue progressing your workouts on your own!
Depending on your YMCA branch, YTHRIVE coach appointments are done one-on-one as to ensure that you receive a personalized experience tailored to your specific needs.
Following your individual sessions, you can certainly do your YTHRIVE exercises together with a workout buddy! It is a great opportunity to motivate each other and make the experience even more rewarding.
In time, group sessions may become available in select branches.
YTHRIVE helps you gain the skills, knowledge and confidence on the weight floor so you can get the most of your workouts. There are no additional costs and the exercises can be completed on your own time and schedule.
Personal Trainers will work one-to-one with you to understand your health history, short and long term goals and develop a customized plan to get you there. There is an additional fee for personal training.
