Join Our Team

We are seeking Coaches for the YThrive program to create high-quality exercise experiences for new and existing adult Members accessing the Conditioning Centre. They will focus on building relationships and providing support and encouragement to enhance member outcomes. Coaches will demonstrate knowledge of Conditioning Centre best practices, our YMCA mission, core values and act as a positive role model. Coaches will help maintain a positive, friendly and safe environment. This position is located at the Ches Penney Family YMCA in St. John’s.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in fitness or related industry
  • YMCA fitness certification or industry equivalent is considered an asset
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR
  • Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
