Join Our Team

We are seeking a part time Team Lead to deliver and lead the After Day Play program for children and youth. This physically demanding job may require you to set up, take down, and clean equipment, lead active programs, and engage a diverse group of people. This position is located at the Ches Penney Family YMCA in St. John’s. This is a contract position from September 2024 to June 2025. Hours of work are generally 2-6pm, Monday to Friday but are subject to change based on member and facility needs.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field with supervisory experience
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Valid Standard First Aid Certificate
  • Acceptable Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
