Join Our Team

We are seeking a Summer Day Camp Inclusion Counsellor to join our day camp team. The chosen candidate will help facilitate inclusion of children with disabilities. This position is located at the Marystown YMCA in Marystown. This position is contingent on receiving funding.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with children ages 5-11 years
  • Previous experience as an inclusion worker, attendant, caregiver, ASL interpreter or day camp staff is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
  • Acceptable Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Current Standard First Aid certificate
  • Available to work June 25-August 29, 2024 (excluding statutory holidays)
