Join Our Team

We are seeking a Program Team Lead to work alongside a small team to provide health and wellness programs for children, youth, adults, and families. The Team Lead is responsible to coordinate and deliver a variety of programs which may include; conditioning centre orientations and management, child minding, rentals, and small group fitness classes. This position is located at the Placentia Regional YMCA.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the fitness industry; Fitness Leadership Certifications such as CanFit Pro, Aquafit, and Yoga are considered assets
  • Experience working with, and delivering programs to, diverse populations
  • Experience leading and coaching small staff teams to provide safe, effective, and positive program experiences
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as bend, crouch, and reach
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Current Standard First Aid
  • Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
